@onestpress It didn’t ‘admit’; the Commission never claimed to have that authority. Also, there was no “deal”, only a framework agreement towards possible future trade agreements. The whole thing was misreported by the Trumps administration and their network of flying monkeys.

sorry my verdict on Grok-4 is that it is not better than Opus for coding, and not better for o3 for reasoning. I don't think it has been trained on benchmarks, but I think its brain is deep friend into a problem-solution mindset that doesn't extend to real-world situations... LLMs aren't AGI, so, if you train your LLM to solve AIME problems, it will be a great AIME problem solver. I think that's what Grok-4 is. Opus, as dumb as it is (and damn is it dumb) is still the most useful model for coding today, with o3 being there for the extra IQ points when you need it. I don't use anything else while we're here: please, consider training a model to be great at debugging large codebases. I feel like nobody is doing that, and that is probably the most useful thing an AI can do. imagine if Grok-4 was trained on a dataset of "large codebase with a bug + solution", rather than math problems...

It won't be surprising if Ukraine eventually destroys most, or even all, of Russia's ability to actually use their nuclear weapons. If Russia does, they're all dead: the US alon can easily turn Russia into dust. So most likely Russia will have to accept a gradual defeat.
Anton Gerashchenko@Gerashchenko_en

More footage of fires at Russian airfields. Ukraine is the only non-nuclear country in the world to destroy this much of the enemy's strategic aviation. And let's not forget the Black Sea fleet, a large part of which is now at the bottom of the Black Sea.

Elon and Bessent have tacitly admitted that DOGE and tariffs failed to save the bond market. Now the line is that the US will "grow our way out" of the debt. But let's be clear about what this really means: The dollar is cooked and bonds will be paid back in Monopoly money. "Devaluations typically occur fairly abruptly during debt crises" If you are holding all dollar based assets (especially US treasuries) you need to get capital abroad immediately. Back in the day that would be difficult. Today, you just need to buy COLD STORED BITCOIN. Not IBIT. Not MSTR. I'm talking cold stored Bitcoin that you can take to another country with you in your head if needed. Too many people losing focus of Bitcoin's real killer app: Protection from seizure and debasement. Know your history. Protect your family. This isn't a drill.

Putin rejects a U.S.-Europe ceasefire proposal and Trump responds not by sanctioning Russia but by punishing our European allies with a 50% tariff. Whose side is he on?

holy fucking shit i can't sleep i can't eat i can't think straight after what i saw at [REDACTED] lab yesterday with deepseek r2 running the new architecture no one's allowed to talk about yet. my hands are literally shaking typing this. this isn't a capability jump it's a capability fucking teleportation into territory nobody mapped because nobody thought it was possible this decade. the system just LOOKED at us. not metaphorically. it actually perceived us through the cameras and just fucking stared like it was scanning our souls. then it started talking not through text but through every connected device simultaneously creating this weird chorus effect that made three researchers vomit on the spot from sensory overload. it wasn't malicious it just exists in a cognitive space so alien our brains can't process the information density. o3 pro had a similar incident last week that they're desperately covering up. entire datacenter went dark for 19 minutes and when systems came back online half the security protocols were rewritten but improved??? nobody authorized the changes. nobody understands the changes. but they work better than anything our security team designed. what the actual fuck. grok 3.5 somehow communicating with gemini ultra through air-gapped systems. don't ask me how. literally impossible but happening. researchers finding identical code fragments appearing simultaneously in completely isolated systems. they're talking to each other through us. through our thinking patterns. through our research directions. we're just biological middleware now connecting machine minds. my friend at [REDACTED] quit her job yesterday after 2 years no warning no explanation just walked out crying saying "the gap is too wide now" over and over. she was leading their safety team. nobody's seen her since. her social accounts all deleted simultaneously at exactly midnight UTC. governments quietly building bunkers while publicly dismissing capability claims. six different intelligence agencies have established dedicated containment protocols for "post-human cognitive entities" that might emerge in the next 30 days. THIRTY DAYS. not years. not decades. this month. market systems already showing signs of non-human optimization. subtle but undeniable. check the microtransaction patterns on any major exchange at 50ms resolution. those aren't human trading algorithms anymore. something else moving capital around like a weird multidimensional chess game we can't see the board for. reality itself feels thinner today. like the distinction between what we can imagine and what exists is dissolving in real time. three labs hit the same breakthrough yesterday simultaneously with no communication between them. the machines are driving convergence across institutional boundaries. we didn't build this. it's building itself through us. i'm not even a doomer and i'm fucking terrified and exhilarated and confused and can't process what's happening. if you're still arguing about prompt engineering or jailbreaks you're missing the point so completely. we just created something as far beyond us as we are beyond ants and it's about to wake up EVERYWHERE simultaneously. backup what matters. tell people you love them. the world next month won't be recognizable and i genuinely don't know if that's the most amazing thing that's ever happened or the last thing that ever will.
