@TeamYouTube so my options are accept the scam strike, give them my information directly, or give them my information indirectly.
Well gee golly, that's a choose.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention — you have a few options to resolve the copyright strike:
1. Wait for it to expire
2. Get a retraction
3. Submit a counter notification
Keep in mind that deleting the video won’t resolve the strike. More here: goo.gle/422encO
Also, we take misuse of our copyright tools very seriously and take strong action when we find abuse (including terminating channels & kicking companies out of Content ID). Btw, for security reasons, we recommend deleting your tweet since it contains an email address

@YouTube This is a known scam. They claim to be an audio book company, but this is the email they give. They want to gather personal data through the claims process.

In middle school, I got paid to cheat on library quizzes for other students.
The school library had a program: read a book, take a quiz proving it, earn points, trade those for prizes. I was the most well-read kid in school, so I got paid $2 per quiz to take them for others.

Once I hear that a project uses GenAI, it's dead to me.
I won't see/read/listen to it, pay for it, and I'll do little to acknowledge it beyond, "Oh, that garbage?"
Let the dregs swell up and rot from the inside.

Lionsgate is exploring using AI to change their exisiting films into more kid-friendly or even animated “Now we can say, ‘Do it in anime, make it PG-13.’ 3 hours later, I’ll have the movie.” (vulture.com/article/genera…)
