It’s rife already 😂 seeing some incredible things about a team (minus their GK, best RB and two best attacking mids) who’ve lost as many games this season as Chelsea have since 11th March.
Today is very annoying but as long as we learn from it, it’s not the end of the world.

@TomCantonMedia Yep. The goal was coming, regardless of who the goalie was. We invited them on/couldn’t get out. You can only play that way for so long before you’re inevitably punished. We didn’t have an answer. Have to hold it.

Amen. The league is bigger (and obviously imperative we get it over the line now) and the quad bs was always just that: media fuelled rubbish. We’re not good enough to win four comps - just got to make sure we are good enough to win one of the biggest two. End of.

Tapping the ball about in our area on nearly every possession to then just launch it. Cup finals are usually won by a bit of spark, endeavour or brilliance. We didn’t have anything of the sort. Extremely poor all round, regardless of the Kepa mistake. #AFC

I am still a firm believer that the team is better with Havertz in it but that miss after five minutes is so big. You can’t waste chances like that in a cup final, especially when your team aren’t going to make the opposition goalie make a save for the rest of it. Not good.

No excuses, beaten by the better team. Second half was abysmal. We didn’t get going, we allowed them to get momentum, we spent 60 seconds tapping it around our own box and we got punished twice. We couldn’t find a red shirt all half and we will get pelters this fortnight for it.
