@ndcorngrower @jasonmauck1 Interesting you choose a gender specific rule and that's the line? Really? Men who sleep around and end up divorced, no problem? Men who abuse young girls, not a problem. Gay women and women who choose not to marry may be the wisest of all.

@jasonmauck1 6. only women who are in their first marriage or widows of their first marriage can vote or seek office. If she chooses to divorce, it is proof of her inability to pick good men.

I could fix our politics with 5 rules 1. No political parties. Run on your credentials. 2. Funding comes from people. 3. You have to be a heterosexual and have children. 4. No lobbying. 5. No trading of any stocks and / or other investments with unfair advantage

@thefarmerslife You really are lucky to have folks who are transition minded. It's not just farmers these days. We have 80 year old men running farms, a lot of politics, so many businesses. Some are no doubt awesome but I know some need to step aside for the health of the farm/country/business.

The more stories like this I see the more I realize I must have lucked out. I came back to the farm when I was 28 in early 2008. Got paid a salary the first year, and moved to 20/30/50 with Dad and Grandpa the next year. Was 50/50 with Dad just a couple years later.

@AdamLasch1 @DamianPMason The amount of 50 something farmers I've been around that make no decisions, have never planted a kernal of corn, and have never set a combine would astound people. They end up being a glorified hired man until parents death. Then have to fight their siblings and farm gets sold

I have found my first giant positive use case for current AI: transcribing interviews. The software I used (Rev) is wildly better than anything I've seen.

Ezra Klein
Ezra Klein@ezraklein·
In the last few years we've seen: - The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer - The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC - The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi - Multiple assassination attempts against Trump - The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife - Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson - The assassination of Charlie Kirk Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all. The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.

We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.

First time to see one in person… county north of me but have been seen in my county. This is that evil Spotted Lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula), an invasive planthopper native to Asia. It’s in the city and flew like a moth.

@FrankLuntz Some of the higher tech garment factories are definitely different from the things that moved offshore decades ago. And I would love to be able to find more grown & made in the USA clothing. Currently any USA produced is high-end for a reason though.
