ppl need to go support black film the way ppl are supporting obsession. there’s a reason those films showtimes are being cancelled for this…like if y’all have enough money and time to see obsession more than once, y’all can def give something to see i love boosters or is god is.

obsession was the most amazing movie ive ever seen but the rumor that the director acted as kind of a "face" for the film while a more experienced director was behind the scenes actually putting the work in kinda tainted the experience for me

this was bad. really fell flat for me. lot of thoughts but mostly I just hated how it was shot. boring shallow focus and SO UNDERLIT. I don’t know if there was something wrong w the projection but it was bad. couldn’t tell what was intentionally dark and what was a mistake.
