18c American views on the "stock of Abraham" were based on a Christian reading of scripture, which saw the Church (capital C) as superseding it and breaking free from tyranny. Jefferson even proposed an image of the Exodus as our seal. America was a Nation founded by God's chosen people. So if by "jewed" you mean "blessed from the start" then you'd be correct.

Brownoids obsess over muhhitler because he’s their safe-edgy cartoon for their thirdworld plight against "dajoos." He means nothing to them other than the fact that he's "based." And yet they never speak of Lee? or Jefferson? or Jackson? Why? because it means admitting that this Nation doesn't belong to them. And they cannot fathom an American who derives his identity from those men who built this country. They want another "Hitler." We need another Washington.

The pro-war coalition was literally the founding stock establishment, ie, the Northeast, the banks, the Anglophile professional class, Roosevelt and the Preparedness movement. The two largest immigrant blocs with a stake in the European war were German-Americans and Irish-Americans and both opposed intervention. The Germans for obvious reasons, the Irish because fighting for Britain meant fighting for the empire that had just executed the leaders of the Easter Rising. These groups were the electoral base of neutrality. When Congress declared war in April 1917, the fifty House votes against came largely from German districts in the Midwest and agrarian populists.
