@JRGriggs @sbp_21 @DavidFurones_ Statistically, it does work. Just not for the dolphins yet. I won’t list them all out but a lot of the playoff coaches this season were hired as first time HCs and call plays for their respective team - on one side of the ball or the other.

What I don’t want from the new regime is regression. That’s what happened with Mike. If we see progress, I will definitely be onboard for the foreseeable future.

@XRPologist @Marcel_LJ It's Haf, and stats don't lie. So yeah, I can say with confidence, based on history, this is more likely to fail than not. I would love to be wrong, but I am a stats guy.

@OmarKelly Honestly I’m a little nervous about him calling plays on defense. We need a HEAD coach. Can he do both? It’s been shown before here it doesn’t work great. Also concerned about the offense. Are they gonna hire fly by nights and run a wtf offense? But in the end … find a QB??!

@OmarKelly As I said in another post, was feeling OK until he said he was calling plays. He'll be gone in 3 years unless he changes that. Sucks for fans though.

I have to wonder if other CFB coaches see Hafley going from being a .500 coach at BC to Packers DC and three years later he's the HC of a NFL team.
