@pgoulding29 @GHMansfield When Mom's in the hospital, we leave her wheelchair at home and use the hospital's. Not as nice, but then it can't get misplaced, broken, etc. Wild!

@GHMansfield I’m a retired nurse. Please don’t let anyone borrow your wheelchair. Ever. I have seen them peed on. Returned with faeces on them. Once sent home with another patient. And many simply not returned. I’d advise padlocking it to your bed or bedside locker.

Me: “I’m sorry. I don’t let my chair out of my sight.”
Staff: “Are you sure? It’s just for a little while?
Me: “I’m sure.”
