KS2 after school choir enjoyed a visit to Chillcott Nursing Home were they performed to the residents. They sang magnificently - well done everyone.

Key Stage 1 and 2 enjoyed the Afrikan Fusions day (Creative Solution for Cultural Education)  which was delivered by Millicent Chapanda. Every class participated in a workshop, we then came together to showcase what we had learned in a whole school assembly. @afrikanfusion

Staff and children enjoyed a visit last week from local author Bryher MacKenzie. We enjoyed a whole school assembly and then everyone enjoyed a class based workshop. @08mcbray

The weather didn't stop Year 2 on their day trip to Barmouth this week. They enjoyed building sand castles and eating ice cream!

Year 1 had a fabulous day on Friday when they all become explorers for the day. Everyone enjoyed pond dipping, shelter building, making a fire and forging for food. @ArthogOutreach

Children from John Randall Nursery had a lovely morning when they visited Madeley Community Library with their parents and teachers.

We’re taking part in @Sustrans #BigWalkandWheel. In partnership with @SchwalbeUK it's the Uk’s biggest #walking #wheeling #scooting and #cycling to school challenge. Encourage your children to take part on as many days a possible between 11- 22 March 2024.

During the half-term, we had a central library fitted for your children. We though we would share some photo's! Our library is now at the heart of our school and the children are very excited about using it! #readingtakesyouplaces

We had the pleasure of welcoming the inspiring author Sarah Griffiths yesterday in school. The children were inspired and this was reflected in their creative writing and the desire to read. @SarahGriffithsA

Shelter building in our local woods was amazing with KS1 children. Everyone had fun learning how to tie ropes and construct their shelters.

We wanted to say well done to both our Key Stage 1 and 2 children for taking part in recent competitions. Their behaviour was superb and they were absolute role models for our school. Well done children - we are very proud of you!
