You are very incorrect because you clearly never read their old days card, please stop spreading misinformation and respectfully stop talking about Caleb trope as if you know the writers. During high school they were pretending to be girlfriend and boyfriend and she was jealous that the thought of Caleb having a girlfriend and all of this is before the fire and whatever. Even in Yearly Nostalgia there was guilt when mc touching him all over. Him dying and returning to mc escalated their reveal of their true feelings for one another. Even in Lucid Dream when they mention that they can finally do what grown ups do aka “kiss” shows that that what’s they’ve always wanted. Also Intertwined gold was a card last year after debut when they both wished they met as strangers and Caleb was saying that he’s a monster and MC saying they’re in a “house of monsters”. It’s not sudden Alabama, the only sudden is en loc team finally decided to follow the og trope (albeit half censored still) which is the source material and tbh they should have done it from the start so that we wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place. Caleb is proud of to be her brother and her lover because it gives him a sense of belonging and togetherness. You know nothing or CalebMC I suggest you just disengage.
