@Larkin8 @DailyFanRacing Even being here at the track it doesn’t feel like an all-star race weekend.
English

@FreddieKraft Traffic sucks and parking is limited. No shuttles around track, takes forever to walk from infield to FanZone or campsites. Hotels are hard to come by. Many logistics make it bad. BUT I’ll be there! 🤤
English

@ifantasyrace @RaceSheets Funny I just replied that before I read this. Apparently, we all have the same question.
English

@RaceSheets The starting lineup for the final Stage is my hold up in terms of understanding.
Is it picking up where Stage #2 ended and then adding in the others at the back?
English

If you're confused as to how this All-Star Race format is going to work, here's the easiest explanation I can give:
A) Qualifying order set with a combined full-lap, pit road sequence on Saturday
B) The first 75-lap segment featuring all drivers
C) Another 75-lap segment with the top 26 inverted from the previous segment, while drivers 27+ remain static
D) The field is set for the final 200-lap segment featuring 17 drivers with guaranteed spots, 8 more spots set by the lowest average finish of the combined segments, and the final spot given to the fan vote.
Key things to remember:
-No All-Star Open
-Everyone races on Sunday
-Sunday activities start at 1:00 PM
English

@RaceSheets @ifantasyrace How is segment three getting lined up? Do the 8 drivers and fan vote start behind the 17 regardless of prior segements?
English

@jeff_gluck I’m more surprised that teams tried to do the opposite of SVG. Instead of taking second place, they risked it all….. these teams need a reminder that it’s not win and you’re in anymore!
English

Oh my gosh, so many geniuses in the replies. You all knew what was going to happen and you're not surprised or impressed. I'm shocked more of you are not crew chiefs. You had it the whole way!
Jeff Gluck@jeff_gluck
FS1 just put out the official numbers for SVG's remarkable drive through the field: Emerged in 26th place Was 29.2 seconds back Retook the lead in only 18 laps Won by 7.3 seconds
English

@jeff_gluck @Knighter01 Experience vs. inexperience. Preece told the world he was gonna wreck him and did it. Busch may have retaliated intentionally, but there’s no evidence.
English

NASCAR issued a penalty for retaliation at the Texas race, but not the one you may think: Ryan Preece docked 25 points and fined $50k for wrecking Ty Gibbs.
However…and this is obviously going to become a big topic…Kyle Busch NOT penalized for wrecking John Hunter Nemechek.
Zach Sturniolo@zachstur
NEWS: Ryan Preece has been docked 25 points and fined $50,000 for his actions in Sunday's @NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas, per Sections 4.3 and 4.4.A in the NASCAR Rule Book. Full story on #NASCAR.com: nascar.com/news-media/202…

Joey Logano last night said the Truck race was some of the best racing he's ever seen. And then you get this moment the next day.
The CW Sports@TheCW_Sports
WOW! THREE-WIDE FOR THE LEAD!!! KYLE LARSON GOES TO THE FRONT!
English

@MrFantasyNASCAR @NASCAR I agree with most of that. I assume most NASCAR fans do as well. But we all know the target is new fans….. not us.
English

@speed_visions Cody Ware spinning by himself in 37th…. racing for 37th, flipping the finish……I just can’t get behind it. Exciting ya, but as a race fan something about it just turns me off.
English

@TravisRockhold Much rather see Dillon race his race car then Cody Ware spin by himself in 37th…. racing for 37th.
English

@MattWeaverRA Ummmm the 51 wrecking to flip the race (and save Reddick from running out of gas), was much worse then the 3 racing to stay on the lead lap.
English

@ifantasyrace I feel like he’s gonna be the test car for Hendrick the rest of the year. This could lead to some very good races and some very bad…
English

@WillEudyNBA Set your crack pipe down. Flag leads in almost every category that doesn’t involve shooting threes….. and of course wins. He’s also a better defender than Kon will ever be.
English

We can’t allow the national narrative around ROTY to change this fast.
Kon Knueppel I believe has had a better overall rookie season than Cooper Flagg, and it’s not super close.
Coop’s back to back 40-pieces are impressive, but they shouldn’t swing the pendulum that much, especially given these are now throwaway games for a team only playing for lottery positioning.
English

@MatthewDillner @KadenWHoneycutt @CoreyHeim_ Interesting take. I thought it was terrible! Boring race with the #1 dominating. Then a lapper (with no spotter?) in the way that destroyed the finish. I guess I watched a different race.
English

That ruled. @KadenWHoneycutt could’ve wrecked both trucks. THAT is race craft. What an awesome finish by two great talents. Congrats @CoreyHeim_
English

@bshawesome No fucks given. Opportunities don’t come often. Win or go home.
English

@JRaymond87 Wrecking your teammate after the flag is a good way to lose your ride
English

@daletanhardt Agree to disagree. Domination with a terrible finish. That 17 team needs a few knuckles
English

I’m butthurt as a Honeycutt bettor but holy shit what a great finish. Thought Riggs was gonna get ‘em both somehow
dale tanhardt@daletanhardt
Won by pure luck man. What a shame
English

@bobpockrass @NASCARONFOX Domination with an embarrassing finish. That lapper team should be parked for a week tho.
