Honestly the only caution flag at this point is “When will the news ever get any better?” Big boys will use this liquidity and news to get out on generational moves and leave the bag for others. I don’t know if that’s the case here, hell I didn’t check cattle futures today til after they closed. Idk sh*t anymore but wow, when will the news get better, that’s your risk.

@KINGS1973 That's a great point. I think energy will stay elevated and continue to be a headwind for consumer demand. Thank you.

@JRed68 We are talking to a few hundred customers a week. They all say they are slow. Data agrees. We are only part way into the effects. Even if war end gas prices won't follow quickly.

Lots of meat of all kinds for sale. Consumer is clearly off their feed at this point. Beef is especially quiet.

IMO I hope people are paying attention to the oct and dec up here.......the news is pretty spicy rite now but a 1,000 ships gotta set and sail between now and then. Gets some risk transfered here boyzzzz

Mexican Screwworm Cases Explode: Every Thursday USDA updates its weekly Screwworm page. Over the prior week 38 new cases were reported in two specific center/north states. That brings the total new cases in these two states since January 1 to 133.

Formula weights in the Western Cornbelt increased 29 pounds from last week to 1,004 pounds, now 30 pounds higher than last year.
