@LeftRig57257476 @SangitaMyska The western world learned to clean up after itself a long time ago. Nice to see the 3rd world catching up for sure.

@SangitaMyska Leading by example, always more in common. If they can do it there, it can be done everywhere. Would love to see Community leaders come together to role this out nationally. Well done all.

There are people inside and outside both Hindu and Muslim communities (in the U.K.) that gain from dividing these two communities. It’s critical that we don’t fall for it. I’m heartened to see this combined effort to improve the environment and life for everyone.

Muslims and Hindus in Leicester coming together to clean their streets. While some seek to divide communities, others are rolling up their sleeves, bringing people together and making their towns and cities better places to live.

@SangitaMyska This is just basic western behaviour. You're learning to clean up after yourself. Well done.

@sadiairum990 @Taj_Ali1 Cleaning up after yourself is baseline human behaviour. We're taught this as children. It's normal, not something to show off about

@TicTocTick Non-British people don't have agency. That's a really racist thought.

100% of all of world’s current geopolitical problems and wars are due to what the British did 60-80 years ago. Every single one of them.

@chicco004 @archer_rs "So you celebrate winter solstice instead of Xmas then?" Yes I do. "And don’t participate in having Xmas holidays off work?" I'm a pensioner & don't work 😁😂 Diversions. The issue is the populist right using religion to sow cultural division for political gain. Focus on that.

Can we assume all those on Twitter who talk about the UK being a "Christian country" went to Church yesterday?

@archer_rs Good point well made. In a largely secular society where the only god is capitalist profit margins at any cost, the insidious use of "christian" as an identity is a worrying phenomena. It seems clear the right wing populists are trying to turn the UK into a mirror of the US.

"White British families (54%) were the most likely out of all ethnic groups to receive state support – families from the Chinese ethnic group (25%) were the least likely to" None of this is good, but blaming the bloated welfare bill entirely on foreigners misses the point.

@D162Michele When the British express nostalgia for a stolen “civilisation,” they mean the loss of an “empire” from which they cannot steal anymore.

85% of Reform UK voters think London is unsafe. 63% of people who actually live here say it is safe. That gap was created deliberately. The dystopia is a lie. #London #ReformUK #Farage #Politics

@rathor7_ Fortunately UK is now facing same thing they did to the world. Illegally immigration ruined UK completely. They totally deserved this.

These are the actual Footprints of Abraham at the Kaaba in Makkah! Look closely… We call it Maqam Ibrahim, the exact stone where Prophet Abraham stood while building the House of Allah with his son Ismail.
