Even if Iran reopens the Strait, how is that a "good outcome"? The region is on fire. The global economy is going to take a year or more to recover. An anti-American regime is in power and emboldened. Iran still has their missiles and nuclear program. That's "good"?

This sets a precondition— “The Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete, immediate, and safe reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.” If met, that’s a good outcome.
