Timeline Cleanse: Did you know there’s a tiny jellyfish that can basically live forever? It’s called Turritopsis dohrnii, also known as the immortal jellyfish. This little guy is only about 4.5 mm big, smaller than your pinky nail. When it gets old, injured or really hungry, instead of dying it shrinks down into a blob, drops to the seafloor and turns back into its younger polyp stage. Then it grows up all over again with the exact genetic makeup each time. Scientists say it can do this reset over and over, so it doesn’t really age.
