Judicial Service Commission staff participated in various wellness activites such as sackrace, football, tug of war, and eating competition. Superior Courts staff underwent free health screening. The wellness initiative aims to boost morale and entrench familial ties among JSC staff.

Members of the Judicial Service Commission are attending the Public Finance Management System (PFMS) training workshop in Masvingo. The training that is being facilitated by the Ministry of Finance is designed to enable staff members meet the requirements of the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS). The training runs from 19 March to 23 March 2026. Participants were drawn from the Transport and Logistics Department, Procurement Management Unit, Administration Department and the Finance Department.

Staff members at Mutoko Magistrates' Court engage in indoor games during the JSC Staff Wellness Day.

Today the Judicial Service Commission staff members across the country played different outdoor and indoor games as part of staff wellness. Staff from the Superior Courts and Magistrates' Court in Harare participated in athletics, football, volleyball, basketball and netball as part of their wellness programme.

Addressing Judicial Service Commission staff in Mashonaland West Province, Chief Justice Mr Malaba urged all staff members to demonstrate servantship in the discharge of their duties.

In his remarks during the Chief Justice's luncheon at Chinhoyi Court complex, Judicial Service Commission Secretary, Dr W. T Chikwana applauded the Commission's Mashonaland West Province staff for executing their duties diligently.

Chief Justice of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Hon. Mr Luke Malaba has arrived at the Chinhoyi Court complex where he is hosting the luncheon for the Judicial Service Commission's Mashonaland West Province staff members. The luncheon is being hosted following the successful completion of a week long monitoring and evaluation exercise at all courts in Mashonaland West.

Practice Direction 1 of 2026 The Chief Justice of the Republic of Zimbabwe has issued Practice Direction 1 of 2026 on the proper use and application of the terms "Struck off the roll," "Postponed Sine die," and "Removed from the roll" in the Magistrates' Court. The Practice Direction takes effect on 2 March 2026.
