@jamemcfc9 I don’t think we have done enough to win the league this season. The results against Spurs home & away, West Ham away & Forest at home are what have cost us badly. It’s West Ham that got screwed over yesterday by the officiating. It’s them I feel sorry for rather than us 😬

As much as that goal today dents City’s title hopes, it is West Ham that feel the biggest pain and to take 5 minutes to turn an allowed goal into a disallowed goal and cost them a point which could well cost them their PL status is just wrong on so many levels!

It isn’t fit for purpose. Get back to the days where if the ball goes in and the whistle isn’t heard, you can celebrate the goals and live in the moment without having an anxious 5 minute wait on will they/won’t they disallow the goal.

VAR needs binning off. Let the referee make a decision on field and stick with it. It may be right, it may be wrong but VAR also are getting things right and wrong on subjective matters. All VAR has done is slow the game down and has created a disillusion with the system.

FYI I thought it was a foul. I thought there were multiple fouls going on at the same time. It annoys me because in other games and in other moments, nothing gets done. It’s these inconsistencies that make the PL a joke when it comes to officiating. It happens in every game too.

Officiating in the PL has never been as bad as it has this season. A goal given in real time chalked off as it is deemed “clear and obvious” yet it was anything but clear or bloody obvious. VAR needs binning.

Not sure why fans dismissing players (Semenyo, Reijnders etc) who haven’t even been here for 1 season! It takes time for some players to settle in and improve at City. I always say to judge players after 2 full seasons at City. Pep knows what he is doing with them.
