I think a main difference is that in comp (the less domineering version), married men carry accountability for their family’s spiritual upbringing.

I am TERRIFIED of pregnancy. I know that I never, ever want to carry or birth a child. I’ve wanted to be sterilized for 20 years. I’m finally at the point where it might actually be possible (I turn 36 in 1.5 months) and I’m hopeful I can have it done this year.

HOT TAKE: Not wanting kids is weird and is a cultural or emotional defect. We were made for relationship and are literally biologically wired to have children. It's entirely unnatural to not want them.
