According to popularity.report Destiny 2 seen about a 50,000 Player increase overnight from May 21st of about 182K Players (when this announcement was made) to May 22nd of about 230K Players. While not its BEST, D2 was still averaging 170K to 200K daily players last 60days

😭I have never been this bummed about ANY game, show, movie, whatever, ending as I am with Destiny. This game should've went on at least another decade, but so many variables messed it all up that could have been prevented. From greed to virtue signaling ideologies, among more.

@JSkeleton92 They should staff, APPROPRIATELY, to build Destiny Classic. It should include every story mission, strike & PvP map from D1 vanilla thru Final Shape. This funds Bungie while they work & develop D3 w/ Xivu Arath as the big baddie & end game send off w/the Gardener and Winnower.

If true, Sony really are stupid for this one. Marathon will NEVER have the potential Destiny has. Destiny is a special game that created some of the most die-hard fans, but the content needed to improve is all (like it once was). Worst acquisition ever (for Bungie/the players).

@Skarrow9 Worst decision in gaming, almost ever. It makes ZERO sense. There are COUNTLESS Destiny fans that just cannot come to terms with it. I've been here myself since the Alpha. This sucks SO MUCH. I keep trying to convince myself there's even a GLIMMER of hope left somehow...

I just can't come to terms with this man We might never do a day 1 raid again. Might never feel that feeling of working together to solve an ARG or secret in this amazing world. Might never feel that sense of community again. I dont fucking get it. I just dont fucking get it

Maybe im just stupid but destiny 3 seems like such a clear and obvious choice and it infuriates me that whoever is calling the shots seems ok with letting the destiny IP just fade away into nothing

@RickKackis Not just that, but apparently still pulling 200K daily players average even during one of the rougher patches of the game's history. Maybe the layoffs are an attempt to rebuild Bungie because of some lack for some time & then rebuild Destiny...idk...sigh...Whole thing sucks.

Was in the Cosmodrome in Destiny 2 just sitting there processing the news about Destiny ending, & couple Guardians just came over & chilled for a bit. This is what Destiny has always been about. More than just a game. Nothing like it, man. Ugh. #Destiny2 #Bungie
