Like Bryan Robson didn’t captain this club through its toughest years? Like Denis Law and George Best didn’t define eras? Or that Denis Irwin wasn’t one of the most consistent full-backs this league has ever seen? So before we start elevating players prematurely or rewriting narratives for clicks, let’s remember the weight of history at Manchester United. Respect the past. Judge the present fairly. And stop using “legend” so loosely — this club’s legacy is too heavy for that.
