@JTPooka All going into Le Coffee Shop with my A2 reverse slung like I'm on leave in Tel Aviv, all accidentally clacking my barrel into the chairs when I turn around, going "OPE, OPE, SCUSE ME" at the scowling patagonia moms.

@Midnight_Blaze_ Consider that many gun owners get pocket pistols because even their larger "more serious" defensive pistols are too large and cumbersome for some short trips.

@Midnight_Blaze_ Yeah see, even in places more accepting of open carry long guns are typically kept in a vehicle and I imagine that'd still largely be the case even if *everyone* accepted it. Just doesn't make practical sense to lug it around everywhere daily.

I get that long guns are so much better or w/e but even if open carrying them became normalized, how many people actually would? Like having a handgun poking your appendix can already be kinda annoying, imagine having some big fuckin' hunk of metal swinging around too/instead lol

@Midnight_Blaze_ I figure people would largely just carry them in contexts that they already do like hunting and security work. Like you'd probably see them more often when hiking maybe, but it'd be a lot to carry for just like walking to the store.

@JTPooka As someone who had to carry a rifle around for work, yeah, I would not like to go back to that at all. It gets really old, really fast.

I get really intense video fatigue sometimes. Makes me feel like the whole medium is evil. I know that's silly but it does legit feel like the biggest conduit of evil sometimes. Internet was an endless field of possibility and we just turned it into TV 2. Good job.
