@BrineHealth The same goes for water. Privatised water companies get a bad press but they've actually reduced sewage in rivers. Nationalisation would make tings worse again.
Keep fighting the good fight Steve!

So many times over the past 14 years I was told if only one of the most expensive commuter lines in the land (ie; ours) was part of a renationalised train network we’d have cheaper fares and a better service. It’s going to be VERY interesting to watch … bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@Mathew1norma @JimFergusonUK @DOGE @RupertLowe10 Yes and tariffs too. Use the same formula Trump worked out and that shows we should be placing enormous tariffs on the EU and Asia.
English

@JimFergusonUK A Department of Government Efficiency is desperately needed like @DOGE to expose the corruption, fraud, rot,
coverups, paedophilia, child trafficking will all be exposed! Follow the money!
Death penalty for child rapist!

🚨 KEIR STARMER FACES GRASSROOTS REBELLION OVER GROOMING GANG COVER-UP 🚨
The truth is out.
Thousands of young girls — raped, trafficked, and abused by organized gangs.
And what does the Labour government do?
💥 Refuses a national inquiry.
Instead, they hand £5 million to local councils — the same ones that failed these girls — to "investigate" themselves.
Even Labour's own Blue Labour group is calling it what it is:
🗣️ “A national evil that requires a national response.”
But Starmer says no.
Why?
Sir Trevor Phillips says it's to avoid offending certain voter blocs.
Victims and whistleblowers are furious.
Maggie Oliver, who exposed the Rochdale scandal, says Starmer is as “guilty as anyone” for these failures.
This isn't justice.
🚨 This is a cover-up.
And the British people won't stand for it.

@Sonyawebbtweets @ActivePatriotUK What? The police clearly describe him as a man.

West Yorkshire Police@WestYorksPolice
Following the tragic murder of a 16-year-old boy in Huddersfield yesterday, we are aware of misinformation circulating on social media, specifically X, regarding the circumstances of the incident and the ethnicities of those involved. See our full statement below ⬇️
English

@ActivePatriotUK So now a 16 year old is a man? Why aren’t reporters reporting the actual facts? 🤬
English

🚨 I am being told that a 16-year-old BOY had his THROAT CUT yesterday afternoon in HUDDERSFIELD, and that the suspect is KURDISH, this is the report from the BBC 👇🏻
A man has been taken to hospital after he was found with a stab wound in Huddersfield town centre.
West Yorkshire Police said officers went to Ramsden Street at 14:45 BST after they received reports that a man had sustained serious injuries.
Police as well as paramedics attended the scene where they found a man with a stab wound, a police spokesperson said.
Anyone with information or footage of the incident is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.

@BrineHealth Wasn't everyone else, but the 2010-24 conservative governments to blame for the dire economic performance during their time in power?

English

@BrineHealth @NHSEngland This was under your watch as MP and health minister.
And what has been the impact of your obesity strategy?

English

And finally, spare a thought today for the many decent hard working staff at NHSE now in total flux and for Penny Dash - just last week confirmed as the new Chair of @NHSEngland ! (10/10)

@murphaloid @WomenReadWomen Haha the idea that X represents what is really going on! It's full of angry people who have nothing better to do than to shout into an echo chamber.
English

The problem is that the general public, who aren't on Twitter and don't know half of whats actually going on, don't think of creeps like this when they think of 'transgender'. They don't know what AGP is and barely know that men like this even exist.
When they think of 'transgender' they're imagining a shy, awkward teen struggling with their identity and confused about their sexuality, which can obviously garner a lot more sympathy than potential serial-killers in drag like this bloke.
The sooner the general public realise that men like this are exactly why self-id is so wrong, the better.
English

@WomenReadWomen Most people replying to this video know nothing about its provenance and are being triggered, as is intended. Do we know it's a man dressed up as a woman, or is it actually a woman and the video is shot to create outrage? How do we know that the person is self-id-ing as a man?
English

@sharrond62 This video was deliberately posted to trigger folk like you Sharron. And it's worked!
I'm against gender self-id but refuse to be drawn into culture wars which are designed to polarise and destabilise society.
English

If this person came into the women’s changing room next to my grand daughter there would be hell to play!
Genevieve Gluck@WomenReadWomen
Can someone please explain to me why we should let men "self-identify" as women - and why such men are supposedly the most marginalized people in society?
English

@benonwine They're not stopping anyone shopping at Waitrose are they? They just don't want employees causing reputational damage to their brand by promoting polarising lies. I'm sure that would be true for someone from the far left too.
English

I don’t normally talk about private matters but I need too today, I have been suspended by my employer and they are trying to silence me because of my beliefs.
I stand with freedom of speech for everyone!
crowdjustice.com/case/defend-my…
English

@benonwine Are you in contravention of your employer's social media policy? If were your employer I'd be very wary of the reputational damage caused by your tweets supporting Tommy Robinson. That's why companies have social media policies.

@DaveLar8 @SquareM89 @KamalaHQ If that's their base, that adds up to very few voters. So relax, the democrats are going to lose bigly. BRING IT ON!!
English

@SquareM89 @KamalaHQ I think the left are wasting their time with this weird tag they have all agreed to using. For one it’s not true and secondly, all it does is put what’s weird into conversation, and I’m sorry but the left are weird. Look at the voter base, pink and blue hair with 50 genders 😂

Gov. Walz: Donald Trump sees the world a little differently. Do you think he would know the joy of tubing and swimming the Niobrara as we do in the summer? You have a slogan here. Nebraska, it’s not for everyone. Well, it sure ain't for Donald Trump. This guy is the opposite of everything here
English

@DaveLar8 @dave43law If these are fixed numbers have you got the correct ones? I'd be interested to see them.
English

@dave43law This is absolute bullshit. They’ve been fixing the numbers on crime and housing and whatever else they want for years. It’s not rocket science.

English

@DaveLar8 @mrjamesob The US do it and charge more - is that unnecessary spite? Should we play hardball with them too?
Reciprocating would make the UK less attractive to EU tourists to the UK. German friends tell me the far right riots are already dampening demand.
English

@mrjamesob What makes me laugh is people are going to blame the Brexit vote instead of blaming the unnecessary spite of the EU, which goes unchallenged and unpunished by our politicians. How about we ALSO charge visa tariffs. It’s easy to stop stuff like this when you play hardball too.
English

@GoodwinMJ Isn't Nigel Farage now a member of the elite class? He's not only an MP (elite status) but also the highest paid one (elite wealth).

English

MOST READ #2 this week. No -- Nigel Farage did NOT cause the riots. The elite class did.

You may not have voted to put sewage on our rivers (as you say, no one would). But you didn't do anything to stop it either.
We're not stupid.
@DannyVet #EnoughIsEnough

English

@David_Rewhorn @Ed_Miliband Regulations on, and fines for water companies pumping sewage into the rivers and sea, also increase bills. But bills aren't the only things that matter - our health, wellbeing and flourishing do too.
Sadly, we'll probably only realise this when it's too late.
English

@Ed_Miliband Net zero policies have increased bills and will continue to do so.
English

I am incredibly proud that Sir Patrick Vallance has endorsed Labour's mission for clean power by 2030.
Take it from the person who delivered the vaccine- Labour has a bold and credible plan to cut bills and make Britain independent.

@rebeccabutlerm2 @Ryanair I think it's the word happily people object to. Things can be legal and in your commercial interests (eg water companies discharging sewage into rivers in some circumstances) but that doesn't mean you do them happily

Tweets like this make me snigger.
Shall I:
a) pay more than I need to for family holiday flights; or
b) pay less.
