@KudosOnYT I enjoy the map bans in premiere CS2 as I feel like I play a majority of the maps and can keep one perma ban map. I could see it still causing the map stagnation with the system we have now though, but the ability to see the other teams best map and banning it is nice.

I’ve been very vocal that I dislike map bans. I think its made the average skill of the ranked player much worse than it used to be
But I also come from an era of learn or lose.
I’d love to see a reform of the system come at some point making it a MAP VOTE rather than MAP BAN
Like you have 5 maps, both team vote for one to BOOST the odds of it getting picked, but it still is a random choice between the 5
Keeps player decision, but still forces players outside their comfort zone

I think Macie was right after watching Furia and seeing them do NOTHING but the most default defenses and attacks and just win off sheer pew pew skill comp feels like aim/mechanical skill is more important than strats. You want 5 insane gunners that can do the default and you win
