India 🇮🇳 has never sought any foreign intervention in its matters concerning Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan. It has consistently dealt with the issue decisively and on its own terms.
India has not meddled in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Instead, it has consistently urged both parties to engage in dialogue and resolve their differences peacefully.
Similarly, India has stayed out of the Iran-US conflict while repeatedly calling on both sides to resolve the matter through direct talks and diplomacy.
India neither invites foreign interference in the internal affairs of other countries nor interferes in theirs. It consistently advocates for peace, dialogue, and regional /global stability.
By choosing not to insert itself into the US-Iran peace talks, India made a prudent decision. Getting involved would have set a precedent that could allow external powers to meddle in India’s own bilateral issues, particularly with Pakistan.
This nuanced position is often difficult for ideologically driven liberals and their echo chambers to understand. That is why they celebrate Pakistan’s involvements.
