UPDATE: All CFISD schools and facilities will be OPEN on Wednesday, May 22, except for the following: Cypress Park High School Holbrook Elementary School Labay Middle School Lowery Elementary School Rowe Middle School For those campuses that are listed above, we will continue to provide you updates when these areas have power. For all campuses that are open tomorrow, please be patient if buses are running late, as one of our transportation centers has not yet had power restored. We know that much of our area has endured days of power outages and damages due to Thursday’s storm, and some of you may not be fully recovered. Thank you so much for your continued patience during this challenging time. We look forward to seeing the majority of our students and staff on Wednesday.

All CFISD schools and facilities will be closed again on Monday, May 20. Travel is a concern due to the number of traffic lights out and the amount of debris on the roads. Additionally, many of our campuses (and families) are still without power. We will reassess the situation and provide an update on Monday regarding Tuesday's status. Thank you for your patience and understanding as CFISD and the entire Cy-Fair community continue to recover from Thursday’s storm.

Due to widespread power outages and potential safety issues in the Cy-Fair community, all CFISD schools and facilities will be CLOSED on Friday, May 17. Extracurricular program sponsors and coaches will communicate schedule changes with students. Friday’s missed school day will not need to be made up due to the inclement weather minutes built into the CFISD school calendar. Stay tuned to the district website, social media and SchoolMessenger for updates. Schools will reopen on Monday, May 20. Please stay safe!
