Britannic Metals features Terry Thimble, who leaves school in 1968 to work as a laboratory assistant. He meets many interesting and memorable people, has a romantic fling and is accused of a crime he didn't commit; the young man also encounters a ‘ghost.’ books2read.com/Britannic-Meta…

@ElizaWallace27 My early Kindle will soon be rendered obsolete, thanks to Amazon. It currently works fine and I use it daily.

@ElizaWallace27 High-end double-story homes come with a lift. Interesting during a power cut, but I bet they’ve got that covered.

@ElizaWallace27 I’ve no complaints about the quality of the television image, it’s the sound quality that’s bad. The manufacturers want us to buy ‘sound bars’ That’s another $1000 out the window. As for size! Sets are massive. It is hard to get anything less than the size of a door.

@MozPerkins There’s a story of two boys in London during WW2 who found in the street an unexploded grenade, or something that they took back home in the baby’s pram - probably to a similar reception.

@ElizaWallace27 This reminds me of an exasperated removals man, who, carrying a heavy box of books up the stairs to a lady’s new apartment exclaimed, ‘couldn’t you have read-em’ first, Missy?’

@HJamesWrites Apropos for the fussy cat who eats his meals from plates dead flat, whisker trim’s the deal for him, then back to dishes with a rim.

Update on my cat: It turns out it's whisker fatigue. He doesn't like fountains or dripping taps; it still affects his whiskers. So he is getting flat dishes, and he seems okay with it. ❤️😊

Good morning world 🌍 from a windswept and wet Cumbria on the coast 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 where I’m waking up with a ‘Moz Standard’ brew. Scalp is sore now the Fluorouracil is doing its job. I’m sharing the pics to help educate the need for sunscreen and hats. Advice I didn’t get. Happy Thursday 👍

@MozPerkins I used Google Lens to identify some strange looking seaweed. It came back with Chicken Madras. Still, yer gotta laugh!

As authors, we all have words we can’t spell right on the first try, like, ever. Mine? Familiar and solidifying. 💀
