Restore will have its time and maybe the General election is it. However their time is not now! As I’ve voiced many times, this By-election is the rights chance to completely destabilise Labour and get them out. Reform are the right leaning party of the moment with huge traction and if a snap election is called, the only ones ready to take over. It will only benefit Restore in the long run. To which they’ll hold one another to account! The one thing we are not good at on the right is ‘sticking’ together ultimately playing straight into the hands of the left. It infuriates me that the left are playing us off against one another and out smarting us like this! For me the Makerfield by-election is a win win anyway. Reform either get in OR the right split the vote, Andy Burnham gets in, contests leadership, becomes MP, stabilises Labour and we then have to put up with them for another 3 years whilst we lick our wounds and learn from our mistakes. We’re ultimately on the same side Kris. Rooted with extremely similar principles, morals and values but split at the trunk due to personalities! The left are far better at tactical voting than the right as they’ve had years of experience and success to be fair to them. We however on the right are newly formed parties, where passion, pride, emotions and egos prevent us from uniting and coming together! It pains me to admit this but if there’s anything at all we can learn from the left, it’s strategical voting!
