99.9% of tire shops won't touch the corrosion. If you find a shop that's willing to fix up your wheels for an extra 50 bucks you better tip them well. Chronic slow leaks are always because of corrosion and tire shop simply apply more sealant Because they're lazy worthless Tire monkeys

All of this rust and corrosion needs cleaned up before I mount the new tire.

@EZebroni Bro, I did Turo for 3 months and it is such a waste of time and money. I bought two brand new Rogue Rock Creeks, and had professional photos and did it right. Turo users use the vehicle to max the km out. You’re subsidizing people to use your vehicle, plain and simple.

UPDATE: I reached out to Continental Tire today via email for an update on my claim. I received a response with the attached “findings letter” about two hours after my email. Ultimately, they are claiming my tires were worn beyond the legal limit and there was sidewall damage. This is their justification as to why my tire DELAMINATED. Remember, another owner around 30k miles had the same thing happen to them AND Continental recalled this same tire (different size) due to tread delamination in October of last year. Something feels off here…not sure what to do next though.

Transmission fluid still needs changed! Yes, transmission fluid still does need to be changed on newer cars, typically every 60,000 to 100,000 miles for automatics or 30,000 to 50,000 miles for CVTs. Even though many modern car makers advertise "lifetime fluid", this term usually means the expected life of the warranty or the point before the parts wear out, not the actual lifetime of the vehicle. Sealed Units: Many modern cars have sealed transmissions with no dipstick, making it harder to check the fluid, but it still gets dirty and wears out. But, Drain and Fill only: Most mechanics including myself advise a simple drain and fill rather than a high-pressure flush, which can push old debris into valve body parts. Transmission filter should also be changed if possible (not all are) And please use a trusted reputable shop. I do not recommend most quick lube ones as they typically do not employ highly trained technicians with much knowledge on todays complex vehicles.
