50/50 Hockey Pool! Hey hockey fans! Check this out! 👇 Myself and some of the other players have been trying to think of some ways to help raise money for kids playing ice hockey in the UK. One of the ideas we had was to make a 50/50 NHL Hockey pool. Similar to match night 50/50 with half the money going to the prize fund pot while the other half would go towards proper on ice/off ice training programs & equipment for kids in the UK. This is something I have seen done back home in Canada and it can raise a decent amount along with having a good size payout for 1st 2nd & 3rd. I was also thinking of sprinkling in some more prizes throughout the season for whoever is leading or just completely random. I’m thinking either £20 or £40 to play maybe just £20 then if you want a better chance to win you can just enter more times. Il also put up some money as well to get the pot started. @DavidMSpence @dcharlton32 You would have to run the numbers on it and just compare the two but they should still make more off subs then a pay per game model.

@dcharlton32 @JWhis35 Further to that someone would need to fund/subsidise any such sort of deal. Great from a customer perspective as you say Darrell but not entirely viable from a business sense

100% would be better. Better for fans and the teams/league would end up making more money on sub service. Should be around £8-£12 a month unlimited games. Keep championship games separate.
