I have no idea why I have taken on this fight, bearing in mind what a cess pit of stupidity this platform seems to be on this issue. Maybe it's because I remember so vividly watching the QED documentary, "John's Not Mad" as a child in 1988, and it staying with me? Maybe it's because I am so sick of intent being completely ignored in these insane times, and hurt feelings taking precedence over everything else? Maybe it's because out of all the 'prejudices' we constantly seem to talk about, those with disabilities seem to get forgotten a bit? Or maybe it's because the whole thing has just irritated me so much? Why are people so unbelievably stupid, and want to make someone with a lifelong condition feel far worse about it? And their solution to be he apologises, or basically never goes out? It's quite staggering.
