@ITruth98 There are reasons why he might come. Breaking the image of him being a checkbook manager might appeal, and as you say, coming back to where he learnt so much about tactics could be a pull. I don't see us parting with Lucio, but you never know. Our problems go beyond the manager.

I understand the lure of Italy for him must be a factor. He's fluent in Italian, has experience in Serie A, and Calcio is effectively the final frontier for him. Doesn't appear anyone in Calcio is equipped to take him at the moment, but it would be spectacular to see.

Guardiola has had unlimited resources at City after spells at clubs where the available funds were always there to create squads in his image. He also remained in Manchester when Juve could offer him a strong squad featuring Ronaldo. But he'll join now, potentially without UCL?

I think Puçka could have a very good career in the Bundesliga. His style looks well suited to that league, especially with clubs that play with a back three. In the right structure, his qualities could be valued far more & allow him to develop at a high level.

Gravina was damagingly inept at his job at best and totally corrupt at worst. However, you can rid the body of cancer only for it to return. While one problem is solved, the greater issue of finding the right name now follows. This had to happen to give us a fighting chance.
