That had to be the grimmest looking registry office I've ever seen. Even if Todd & Theo's wedding had been a happy occasion, the venue was horrible. Particularly the bits of old, red Christmas tinsel left up on the walls. Suppose it reflects the grimness of the situation #Corrie

@JosephMcDo33519 There was an element of that, but ai think it was important to show the registrars as inexperienced/unbothered and bad at their role, because anyone competent would have stopped the wedding.

Did #Corrie really play the Todd/Theo wedding for laughs? Because that is sick. An abuse victim is being coerced into a surprise wedding. Playing it for comedy purposes is completely unacceptable.

I'm glad #Corrie made the registrars at Todd & Theo's wedding uninterested & inexperienced, b/c I wondered what registrar in their right mind would be happy to officiate over this blindfolded surprise wedding! Anyone competent would have stopped it. Todd is clearly uncertain.

@suespeaksup @countcol No. They're not suddenly slashing the prices. They were up to half price from the start. Usually the price reduction comes is when you use a store loyalty card. It's to encourage people to have loyalty cards. Your sales data is valuable to these companies.

Cadbury eggs stacking up on shelves… reduced everywhere… and still no one’s buying. People can taste the difference. Cheaper ingredients, palm oil, higher prices it’s not the same chocolate anymore. Consumers aren’t stupid. They’ve just stopped buying it!!
