If you are a recording artist interested in learning how to mix and master your songs, I have a bitter truth for you. You can't learn mixing and mastering techniques with just your vocals. To become a top-notch audio engineer, you have to mix and master an average of 250 songs with different artists making different genres of music in a year or two. Also, you have to be consistent for at least 10 years to learn different problem-solving techniques to make a song work for a recording artist.

Learn how to mix nigga, I'll tell you why the idea of general presets don't work. 1. The sonical composition of a beat gon have a great influence on how a vocal sound at the end, just slapping a preset would have your vocals and beat sound like they are worlds apart most times. 2. Every artiste's voice is different and requires a different approach to mix, everyone has different frequency composition, some voices have too much 1-3kHz while others have less that needs boosting, so how do your presets account for that? Presets don't even work for same artiste on every song. Better learn how to mix nigga.

If you had a label, who would you sign? Artist number 1: has a beautiful voice, writes songs, has only one post on Instagram of him smoking dated 2023, doesn't have any song out yet. Artist number 2: A good artist, has a little fan base of 3k solid following, post content 4 times a week, has a couple of songs out (all under 1k streams). His branding is already coming into shape.
