@MissSassbox And I just found out he didn't hire an agent.. dude didn't have anyone to work the phones for him as the draft was winding down to get that contract & camp invite.. unless you're a Lamar Jackson, I don't see any pro to not having professional representation to do that work

@MissSassbox His attitude may end up having him playing in the USFL.. undrafted qbs are signed / signing deals for camp invites as soon as the draft ended and he's still without a squad. He made his bed, and his bonafides on the field were not good enough to outweigh his persona/ego

based on his field skills, Diego Pavia should have been drafted. based on his presentation as an individual off the field, it's not surprising that teams want to make him earn a spot under specific conditions. hopefully, he takes this as a learning opportunity & not a slight.

NBA players are still incredibly popular. In fact, we follow them more now with social media and primetime specialized content. Nike basketball shoes aren't selling at the same rate for a few reasons:
• price points are too high
• resellers and counterfeits ruined the market
• competition is creating more cost efficient and comfortable shoes
• some designs are too complicated or niche for daily wear
• Nike still hasn't fully evolved in the accessibility lane; many customers require options without laces or fussy components that can rarely be found beyond children's sizes
• customer service in many of the stores/outlets has deteriorated in comparison to a few years ago
Nike needs to stop tapping into the the high volume buyers, elite brand boards, and wealthy folks for a bit. Get back to the the general public and the foundation of the product... the fans, the consumers, & the people who grew up knowing a standard we no longer have.

As someone who also had a terrible shingles experience as a young adult, I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy. The itching, the burning, the nerves tremors & twitches (the last two I still deal with 3+ years later) this is sad to see. I hope he gets past this soon ✊🏾
