I got here 5 hours early this time after missing the flight on the way here by being only 2 hours early. To get to the end of the line you need to take the escalator into the basement / sub ground level area. Then you have to progress through that to get to the line on the first floor. Then you’ve gotta get through that. All along the way are posts marking how many hours away you are from the front. I think I’ll make my flight this time. But this is absolutely horrible. Grateful I had a fun weekend. I’m going to keep thinking about and focusing on that to stay positive. And about how excited I am to see my wife and daughter when I finally get home.

Yea once the plane doors are closed and sealed they normally won’t let anyone else board. Flight must have been packed. I would say get there earlier but you were ther 2 hours early. It’s unfortunate the ticket didn’t have the gate # printed on it. That 2 hours to get to the gate is what messed you up it seems.

Genuinely asking what the lesson is for next time given the following: I got a ride to the airport at 5:45. I arrived at 6:15. I printed my boarding pass by 6:30. My boarding pass did not contain the gait. It wasn’t on the boards yet. I asked around until I gout pointed in the right direction. I arrived at the gate at 8:23 Departure was not until 8:30. So between boarding at 7:50 and when I arrived at 8:23 that plane was apparently vacuum sealed. Sounds a bit ridiculous to me. This is your best @Delta?

I’m there 7 minutes before departure and they wouldn’t let me on the flight. Is this normal @Delta?
