If there was an imminent threat from Iran, Tulsi’s answer would have been: yes. It’s as simple as that. She wouldn’t have tied herself into pretzels with the ridiculous claim that only a President can determine that. She literally puts out an annual threat assessment.
The plain fact is that she lied. She’s lying us into a war that her career was supposedly dedicated to avoiding . I was wrong last summer, she’s substantially worse than Colin Powell. She’s a traitor to this nation.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

@MarioNawfal Lies are just coming out of his arse now. Anyone with the a bunch of brain cells, read up on the iran Nuclear deal with obama and read the IAEA reports. There was no threat whatsoever. Iran simply wanted parity with the region and ease of sanctions.
