Over the last couple years, I've been asked: why not launch @MoonwellDeFi on Ethereum mainnet? After all it has $100B TVL in DeFi, and @Base is relatively small in comparison. For context, most mainnet TVL is either ETH whales (people who were in the ICO) or large DeFi funds.

So @aave why you are you using protocol funds or founders personal funds to suppress competition ? Are you scared of @moonwell ? Are you scared of @base creating better lending / borrowing protocols ? Shouldn’t you bring that to the attention of your users on why you’re blowing funds suppressing the token price of another protocol ? It was first noticeable when you attacked @gauntlet_xyz and tried to get rid of them. Now I’ve come to realize it’s been @aave the entire time suppressing price action of another token. $AAVE has been suppressing the price of the $well token since Nov of 2024 and I’ve come to realize it was most likely them running bots to try and suppress a lot of #base coins including $aero and multiple others who were threatening the business model. Many #base coins were being manipulated for months and months suddenly ends when $aave introduces #base ? … $aave is a cancer.. remember one thing karma is a bitch.
