After my boyfriend and I finished our NYSC camping in Gombe state, due to insecurity, we both applied for redeployment and we were redeployed to different states....I was redeployed to Edo state whilst he was redeployed to osun state.
Not too long after I settled in Edo state, I had another crisis, I was rushed to a hospital near my PPA, the doctor tried to stabilise me with oxygen but I was still struggling for breath.
The doctor asked to speak with a family member to get my medical history since I couldn't speak, I didn't want to give him my mum's number because my dad had died and I didn't want her overthinking again, I just gave him my boyfriends number.
He called my boyfriend and explained my situation....all through that night, the doctor and my man were busy communicating till I started getting a hold of my breathing little by little....my boyfriend is also a pharmacist so it was easy for both of them to work together.
By the next evening, I was breathing very fine, the doctor asked me the relationship I had with my boyfriend, I told him we were dating and that we just met in NYSC camp.
The doctor told me....that man cares a whole lot about you and he seems very intelligent, I hope you never take him for granted.
I was just stunned, I didn't know what transpired at night but I know my boyfriend didn't sleep until I regained some breathing strength because the doctor's phone kept beeping from time to time all through the night.
He's my husband now and we are blessed with 3 beautiful children 🥰❤️

There was a report I used to send to China every single day. It would take me a solid 2–3 hours of focused work, no shortcuts, just pure effort.
Then one day, while I was in the shower, an idea hit me. I didn’t even wait, I rushed out, grabbed my laptop, and tried it immediately. From that moment on, what used to take hours started taking less than 30 minutes.
That experience stayed with me. Yes, we all need grace in what we do. But sometimes, it’s not about grinding endlessly or working hard all the time…it’s about stepping back, thinking differently, and working smart.
Now turn the ladder upside down. Move smart.

The best way you can ever repay your parents is by giving them nothing to worry about when it comes to you. You’re not on drugs, you’re doing the right things, you’re living a healthy lifestyle, you’re taking care of your responsibilities. That’s the best thing you can do ever do for your parents.

That’s beautiful… but also rare.
Not every parent is quietly stacking millions behind the scenes, many are genuinely surviving on what their children send.
The real lesson isn’t parents always save it, it’s this:
Good parents don’t just take from you, they think beyond you.
Whether they spend it or save it, their intention is still the same: love, sacrifice, and wanting your life to be better than theirs.
Your friend gave out of responsibility. His parents gave back out of legacy.
That’s the kind of circle most people hope to build, not something to assume.

From Day 1 of marriage , one of my close friends started sending 250,000 every month to his parents.
No excuses. No delays.
Parents lived in a small town. Simple life. No demands.
8 years passed.24 million sent. My friend always thought, “At least they are comfortable.”
In 2024, his father passed away suddenly. While arranging documents, his mother handed him a bank passbook.
Balance: 29.5 million. Every everything he sent… was saved. Plus earned interest.
Inside the passbook, there was a small folded note.
“For your children’s future. – Papa”
My friend thought he was supporting them. They were silently building his safety net.
Moral:Parents never stop being parents.

“My wife wants this.”
“My wife doesn’t want that.”
“My wife doesn’t like it, so I don’t want it.”
“Thank God I didn’t go through with it. my wife advised me against it and she was right, she’s a smart woman.”
“My wife needs me, so I have to go.”
“Guys, I won’t be able to make it; my baby needs me.”
“I want to get this for my wife; she’s going to love it.”
“That’s my wife.”

My cousin almost d!ed while giving birth.
I’ll never forget that day.
She had been in labour for hours. The doctors were worried. Nurses were moving in and out of the room, whispering to each other.
The atmosphere was tense.
At some point, one of the nurses came out and told us the situation was becoming very complicated.
Everyone went quiet.
You know that kind of silence where people are afraid to even ask questions.
My aunt started crying.
Some relatives were pacing around the corridor of the hospital.
Then someone said, “Let’s pray.”
Right there in the waiting area, we held hands and started praying to God. Not fancy prayers. Just desperate ones.
“God please help her.”
“God please save the baby.”
“God please don’t let anything happen.”
Minutes felt like hours.
Then suddenly, we heard it.
A baby crying.
That sound broke the tension instantly.
A nurse came out smiling and said, “Mother and baby are fine.”
Everyone started thanking God right there in the hospital corridor.
That moment did something to me.
Because when I saw the fear, the prayers, and then the sudden good news…
I couldn’t shake the feeling that something bigger than us stepped in.
That night changed my view of life forever.
It made me believe that God is real, and sometimes He shows up when hope is almost gone.
