@RhonddaBryant Llyr is not lying it's something called Barnet consequentials that you seemed to know more about when tories were denying Cymru the same owed capital investment. You made same argument in March 2023. What did it take to change your mind Sir?

This is a lie. Wales spends more than the tax raised in Wales. So Welsh taxes don’t cover what is spent in Wales let alone go towards expenditure elsewhere. Last year’s Westminster settlement for the Welsh Government was the highest ever.
Plaid Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿@Plaid_Cymru

If you live in Wales, your taxes are going towards paying £45bn to build a railway line that's...just in England. If you believe Wales should be in control of our rail funding then vote Plaid Cymru in May.

@RhonddaBryant Not a lie Mr Bryant, indeed you made exactly the same point when tories made HS2 an England and Wales scheme, denying Cymru the equivalent capital investment. Are you forgetful or lying? All on Hansard 14th March 2023. Pob hwyl.

Another lie. Wales spends more than it pays in tax. So we in Wales don’t pay anything for railways in England. We are net beneficiaries. Last year’s settlement for the Welsh government was the biggest ever.
Delyth Jewell AS / MS@DelythJewellAM

Wales is owed billions from Westminster in rail funding. We pay towards HS2 & the Oxford-Cambridge line, yet our own railways are underfunded. With those billions, we could reopen local lines across Wales. When will this outrage end? Eiddo Cymru ydy'r arian hwn 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

“If Wales were independent, it would be extremely poor.” Welsh First Minister @Eluned_Morgan says the country wouldn’t survive outside the UK - and must grow its economy. @lewis_goodall

@davidkurten Always been Bannau Brycheiniog to me. Named after Brychan, a Welsh king and saint who was father to 24 Christian saints. Many churches named after them. Welsh Christian heritage too woke for you?

Our Politics and a Pint packed out the Nags Head in Usk this evening 🍻 There was no love for small boats, a federal UK and blanket 20mph speed limits. Cracking evening, great pub and excellent company!

As the energy price cap rises to over £3,500 a year, remember that, thanks to Labour, workers in Wales earn £3,120 a year less than workers in Scotland. Imagine what a difference that money would make in these hard times. The cost of Labour 🥀

Something that really struck me at the count yesterday in Llangefni was the fact that all the Conservative candidates had left the centre BEFORE all the results were in, even if they were standing and awaiting results. 1/2

After working within IT (loosely speaking) for the last 17 years, I discovered today that apparently a lot of people sign off emails with Best. Just best. Not best wishes, not best regards, not all the best. Just best. Anyway. Best, Richard.

We can’t afford another 5 years of inflation-busting council tax rises. We can’t afford another lost 5 years with Labour. We can’t afford to have our tourism industry raided by Plaid separatists. On May 5th, vote Welsh Conservative.

How did the Welsh manage to preserve their language so much better than the Irish, even though we have our own State and they don't?

Literally half the words John Hartson uses on S4C are English. Can’t they get a Welsh speaker?
