Here's a small example of how cooked X is. Some moron gets a viral post, In this case the "Even in so much pain" reaction to some Asian Woman having a retardo meltdown (faked for social media attention to begin with), In January and a bunch of sad losers/bots copy it word-for-word. It has now re-appeared (March) after a failed attempt to "revive" the exact same post in February. Many of these examples didn't really get any traction but there's many posts especially surrounding Feminism and the Manosphere completely carried by predominantly Indian and Nigerian accounts trying to recreate or sometimes accidentally create these "viral" posts (which then in turn get copied). This platform is 90% slop because the only thing that will get you any attention IS generic slop. P.s: The only way I could find the original was to go back through my own timeline since I could've sworn I saw this post months ago (I was right, I even quoted and commented on it) The Search function is absolutely screwed and I'm sure there might be dozens more of these posts.

Watch a pro play a (competitive) game then try the game yourself. You'll retain some info but it's mostly pointless. Do the same but after having played a game for some time (for improvement tips). You now have context and experience and it's actually usefull. Night and day.

I have never listened to an audiobook and retained the experience of the material the same as if I had actually read it myself. This is actually a great analogy for watching a recording of a video game versus actually playing it or even sitting in the room with someone playing it

Actually, yes, I would say that listening to an audiobook isn't the same as reading. The entire point is that you can do something else while listening. No one gives their undivided attention to an audiobook. It's a cheatcode to avoid having to actually read.
