@jackduval @ryancohen they would not change the name to something that could potentially detour users

@jackduval @APompliano @ryancohen Go fuck yourself you useless pile of dogshit it’s always the doxxed pfp clowns with the narcissism to vamp already existing tickers and the concept isn’t even good.
You think GameStop is gonna change their ticker to $gay? And you’re selling that narrative to your followers?
English

Here we go.
WSJ reporting Gamestop $GME has built a ~ 5% stake in eBay and is offering $125 a share in cash and stock. (20% premium to Friday close price).
@ryancohen thinks Ebay can become a much larger competitor to Amazon.
Cheering for Ryan and Gamestop here.

@Pumpfun what you fail to understand is that the trough never dies
while your silly little coins slowly but surely dwindle to zero, the trough will only get stronger, smarter, and more adapted to the way of the trenches
we have formed a coalition, our mission has only just started

@cryptodotnews always thought that guy gave off a weird vibe
glad to know my intuition was right and i avoided him early on🙏

NEW: Former Pump.fun employee claims the team ran bots that sold right before coins bonded, with profits reinvested due to lack of funding

a byproduct of the twitter tracker hyper rotational trench culture is that every catalyst for everything gets treated as sell the news
and it's because everyone gets the catalysts at the exact same time, down to the pico second
and so charts start to look more and more like this: sharp wick up on a catalyst followed by an immediate continuous selloff, and a sharp wick down insta zero if there is a spec of fud
this is because when a catalyst comes, as a trader you aren't just thinking about what it means for the coin, you are thinking about how the other 20,000 people looking at twitter tracker will react and arguably that's more important given that everyone uses it
for example, when the mom who had tweeted about the asteroid dog unfollowed the eth token's twitter, the eth token literally nuked 60 mil in market cap almost instantly because everyone in the trenches was pinged at the same time
there are many problems with this, the big one being that 99% of chart movements for most "pve runners" literally happen in a matter of minutes
a coin might be at 10 mil, but in reality it went from 500k to 10 mil in a matter of seconds and unless you were an early holder or one of the twitter tracker kids who bought the second the catalyst happened, you will not be able to participate in that runner
to sum it up, less and less coins are having rallies that accumulate and leg up over time and more and more coins are having majority of their runup happen within seconds and same goes for the run down

you're missing the point
the point is that anything can become a narrative and anything can become bullish
i could piss on the floor and tokenize that and if that somehow got to a 100 mil mc people would be tweeting out full dissertations on the timeline about how ironic and esoteric the coin is
useless coin, housecoin, etc are all examples of coins that are really only good once they hit high market caps and have a strong community behind them and to me that's the essence of what a memecoin should be
English

@jackduval narratives dont matter 🤣 Tell me youve never been in a billion runner without telling me you havent been in a billion runner
GIF
English

tldr and this might be an unpopular opinion
but 99% of time narratives don't matter, catalysts don't matter, NONE of it matters
you could tokenize literally anything and send it to billions if you have a strong enough push behind it and we've seen this happen countless times
in fact most of the top performing coins to ever exists fit in this box and there is a reason for that
English

the essence of what a memecoin is is to take something that has zero inherent value, might literally be utter slop, and give it "value" anyways by forming a community around it and choosing to send it as high as humanly possible
currently the opposite is true, and traders instead treat memecoins like they're swiping on tinder, dropping one coin to rotate to another in search for a "better" narrative, which is a never ending loop that ultimately results in lower ceilings for all tokens
@BillyM2k said himself that when he created dogecoin, it was to make fun of the crypto bros who would rotate between different altcoins every day in search for "the next bitcoin", highlighting the stupidity in that thought process and making the point that "value" is subjective and if people wanted to they could make a stupid dog coin outperform every existing altcoin (and he was right)
in other words, the inception of memecoins was literally a direct response to the hyper rotation in the crypto space
it could all be so simple
