@JackGr27 He was ready to take it last night then his friends changed his mind. Oh well, would you take this if you needed a 2nd QB?

I need another QB, thinking of moving off of what would be Price and whatever 1.12 is (Boston, Stowers, Cooper) to get an ELITE WR in Burden and the upside of Shough with Tyson now in tow

@jfortner88 @TFawn6279 I hope he laughed in your face. That’s an utterly awful trade why the actual fuck would he accept that. Do better. Think critically, not wishfully.

60 Days, 60 Prospects 2026 NFL Draft Countdown - Day 16 Prospect Breakdown: Ted Hurst, Georgia State, WR12 Ted Hurst is a vertical threat with elite athletic traits whose ideal role in an offense fits as a Z-flanker with potential to blow the lid off a defense. He has a rare combination of size, speed, and downfield playmaking that brings legitimate field-flipping ability. But his limited versatility and inefficiencies make him a team-specific situational project rather than a complete receiver. Height: 6'4 Weight: 206 lb Age: 22 High-End Player Comp: Terry McLaurin Low-End Player Comp: Devontez Walker Playstyle: Deep Threat Archetype: Z-Flanker Round Grade: 4th Round Talent Hurst’s value is driven almost entirely by his ability to win downfield. He finished his career with an elite 14.64 career ADOT, with 70% of his career receiving yards coming through the air, and nearly half of his total production came downfield. 47% of his career yards came on targets 20+ yards downfield, totaling 913 career deep yards. He was used primarily to stretch defenses and create explosive plays, rather than as a consistent chain-mover. Hurst’s athletic testing at the NFL Combine immediately stands out in the class. He posted a 9.92 Relative Athletic Score (RAS), making him one of the most athletic wide receiver prospects in recent draft classes on paper. Hurst, standing in at 6'4, 206 lb, ran a 4.42 40-yard dash with a strong 1.55 ten-yard split. The explosiveness we saw on tape showed up at the combine, with Hurst recording a 36.5-inch vertical and an 11’3 broad jump. Hurst possesses the physical tools teams covet in an outside vertical receiver. Across two seasons at Georgia State, Hurst finished with 127 receptions for 1,960 yards and 15 touchdowns on 873 routes run. He averaged 2.25 yards per route run, though he was more effective against zone coverage with a 2.62 yards per route run vs zone. Most of Hurst’s production came against Sun Belt competition, which muddies his projection of translating his performance to the NFL level. His vertical role also resulted in a somewhat narrow route tree compared to more complete receiver prospects. Hurst lined up out wide on 83% of his career snaps. He was also a legitimate target earner, being targeted on 26% of his career routes. Though he offers virtually no value in the screen game, generating just 73 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Hurst also showed strong ball skills in his career. He converted an impressive 61.1% of his contested targets, ranking near the top of the class, and has a natural ability to track the ball in the air. However, Hurst comes with significant efficiency concerns. He finished his career with a poor 56.4% career catch rate and an ugly 9.3% drop rate, with 13 career drops. Hurst also had an extremely low 83.6 QBR when targeted, placing him at the bottom of the class and in the 98th percentile of lowest QBR among receiver prospects since 2019. He also has below-average separation ability, with 24% of career targets being contested. Hurst averaged just 4.61 yards after the catch per reception, but did force a missed tackle on 20.5% of career receptions, showing an ability to make people miss when given the chance. Hurst projects as a situational vertical threat with upside whose value will be role-dependent. He has potential to come in and immediately provide field-stretching value to an offense, but his long-term projection will be dependent on him improving his hands and separation skills.
