Nothing short of a complete clear out will save us next season. You can count on one hand how many of these lads are good enough for L1. Remember though, you can’t criticise the recruitment otherwise you’ll be hearing from the lawyers #pufc

@JackLenton7 You missed Bolu - I guess it’s because he is in the academy right? Mills needs experienced competition but he needs to stay too. Agree Ihonvien deserves another go. Lees could be player/coach.

Retain: Bass, CJ, Okagbue, Hughes, Garbett, Woods, Khela, Lisbie and Leonard. Maybe Lees for depth, although I’d prefer a long term replacement. Maybe Ihonvien if he can work with LW. Get the rest out. A few of the youngsters on loan. #pufc

@62madmanDj We’re stable off the pitch, aside from the ground being in receivership. However, we’re failing at the footballing side of things, despite being a top L1 spender. If we continue on this path, we’ll be in L2 before long and that will have a real impact financially

@JackLenton7 If you think the current chairman is doing a bad job, then look around at others in the league, Leicester, S. Wednesday to name a few. We are not a rich club and with the debts being paid back slowly we need cash either in more fans or help from outside.

When do the fans start to seriously turn on the chairman? He’s only ever been successful when he’s had Ferguson doing well. Apart from that, he’s been unable to work with another manager to any sort of success. One trick pony that can’t even guarantee L1 football anymore #pufc

@JackLenton7 @Dines_11 Changing the ownership doesn’t mean fortunes would change on the pitch. While the club staff are getting paid and the club is being run correctly compared to some other clubs, plenty that have had points deduction or out of business then no need for change imo

@JohnVerrall Another season like this and I can see things getting really hostile at LR. Don’t think the chairman has the right personality to handle that sort of situation. Hopefully this run of form has been the wake up call they needed to do some serious work over summer

Nothing left to say on today other than the chairman is on record saying we’d have got top six if Lees and Okagbue had been fit all season. Can only hope this awakens people within the club as to how far off it we truly are. Full surgery needed this summer, not minor repairs.

Throwing youngsters in when they clearly need time out on loan is a very damaging look for our academy imo. Could be detrimental to their long term career. Merit should be the only thing that gets you in the squad, not just because you’ve come through our system #pufc

@JackLenton7 Clubs like us will never have 4 out and out LB's - we can't afford it. But we had CJ and TOC who could defenitely do a job there if required. And I think we signed a full back haven't we ?

@romysdad CJ and O’Connor aren’t left back. Sparkes, Edun, Mendy and Mills in the space of 2 years. It’s a testament to how poor recent recruitment has been. Targeting poor characters and subpar players is forcing us to recruit every 6 months. We need a long term Adebisi replacement

@romysdad A purchase 2 years ago isn’t recent investment in footballing terms. He’s clearly not getting coming back anytime soon. When Sparkes left, a replacement was required. Yet we haven’t invested. Instead, we’re sticking with a lad who isn’t good enough. Recruitment has been abysmal

@JackLenton7 You think Rio was free ? 😂. Of course we invested in him, and then again in Jack Sparkes. We've spent millions in the last 2 seasons, up there with the highest spends in the division, so to say we haven't invested is laughable.

@romysdad @richard_pufc86 People have no issue with us utilising our academy. We’ve produced some great players and have some exciting prospects. However, forcing players into the first team too soon, just because they’re academy graduates is what annoys people

@richard_pufc86 @romysdad You only have to look at how the prem academy sides perform in the EFL trophy to know that relying on inexperienced players and academy graduates probably isn’t the best recipe for success

@JackLenton7 @romysdad Yea. Dunno how far this youth project is gonna take us. Who else does it and what have they achieved. Cos at the minute it looks to only achieve struggle, and dicing with relegation.

@romysdad We haven’t invested though. Rio Adebisi has been injured for the better part of 2 years now. We can’t use that as an excuse. It’s painfully obvious that we need a new starter at LB. And we do need to keep buying, because the owner has messed 2 years of recruitment up

@JackLenton7 We did invest but sadly that guy is injured, and Mills got his chance. The reality is though that we can't keep buying as some fans want us too. We need to trust the coaching team to improve what we have...
