@KatTimpf And what local governments require of developers now v. Years ago is exponential. Those costs naturally must be passed on to buyers. And ALL that climb aboard any and every RE transaction is absurd. All get a chunk! Like the progressives idea of taxing corporations more….🥱

Sorry, but the numbers simply do not agree with you.
Historically, homes were 3 or 4 times the median income. Now, in many areas, they are 6 to 10 times the median income. That’s not a gap that can be closed by no longer going out to dinner.

@KatTimpf Kat... it is ONE example - others: marriedin 30s+ (2 income delay), latest Iphones, designer SHOES/purses/clothes, dining out vs at home, new cars, no savings, botox, fillers.... We had better priorities 40+ years ago.
