@CasFarmerCD @stationmum101 @simongerman600 @Civixplorer I prefer the unit of "greater Sydney areas" so people can conceptualize the area, but no, too many people can't see beyond the concrete, glass and steel, not to mention the mythical supermarkets; which is where food is magically produced, hence "super"

@2worldsPodcast @AlboMP Real question is, how much is it costing us, the taxpayer for this new "taskforce". The solution doesn't really require multiple committees and consultants that gets paid ridiculous amounts of money.

@AlboMP Wait, so your government claims there’s no fuel crisis but you’ve set up a “Fuel Supply Taskforce” to deal with the fuel crisis……

We’ve set up a new Fuel Supply Taskforce, led by Anthea Harris. Working with states and territories, the taskforce will make sure fuel gets where it’s needed most. It will bring together experts and industry to protect our fuel supply, and make sure we have the latest information on supply and demand.

No idea when our order will be delivered, we ordered before the war kicked off, original date got knocked back. Was told that 6Mil litres have been diverted to Kalgoorlie. Already stopped all erosion management work, potentially going use our older boom spray as it's more fuel economic, but less features. Looked into EV's but nothing quite hits the mark. Concern is that sure we can get the crop in the ground, but if this carries on we might not be able to harvest it. Looking at less in crop spraying as well. Lots of mis-information from the government on the situation, so much evidence that shows that what they are saying is not true.

Fuel for 80c a litre in Australia? We export oil, ship it overseas to be refined, then buy it back. That fuel powers the farms, trucks and mining industry that drive our economy. If we can’t produce and refine the fuel that keeps Australia moving… our future ends up in someone else’s hands. #FuelPrices #EnergySecurity #Australia #AusPol #CostOfLiving

@Tbone_Flusher Correct me if I'm mistaken, but light sweet crude is valued for its purity and simplicity to refine. And the condensate that's produced from the Northwestern shelf is valued for gasoline blending and petrochemical production.

@JackOutTheBack You really need to consider difference between light sweet crude vs heavy crude. Our refineries don’t like light sweet crude

@hacheebi @C604Wt When there an electric work ute that can do 1000km and tow equipment, we will buy one. We have a fully solar powered station, and number of full solar dwellings.

When my brother and I were in Southern Africa, just a bit over a decade ago we visited a very impressive development. It was a massive sugar cane farm and in the centre was an ethanol plant. I'm sure people will not mind if we use GM crops to produce the fuel for their vehicles.

I've always been careful to not make comments that could be perceived as "inciting" violence or disorder. My concern is that no one could be as oblivious to the impact of the words and actions that this government has taken (in effect) against their own people. I may be giving them too much credit here, but they have to know what reaction it will cause. I reckon that it's been well arranged to get some people to react badly enough so they can justify new restrictions, identify "agitators" and ensure compliance. We've already seen the uneven approach based on ethnicity, religious background and political beliefs. In this arena, one needs to consider their words, actions and approach.

At what point will Australia band together and say "no more" Fuel reserves - failure Cost of living - failure Social cohesion - failure Housing - failure Hospitals - failure Education - failure Immigration - failure ADF - failure Economy - failure NDIS - failure Local Councils - failure Politicians - unmitigated failure Media - failure How much more evidence do you need before you realise the government at every level as we know it is a failure, worse than that they refuse to engage with every day Australians to find solutions to the problems, instead in true pig arrogant fashion they crank the money printers and try to hide their disasters rather than take ownership of their bungling. How much more will you take before you stand up? What have you got left that you are willing to risk? Where is your line in the sand? #auspol #NationalStrike #Protest #ConvoyToCanberra #Epic2026
