Tonight at Percy’s Homeless Hub we served 100 hot meals to those hungry and sleeping rough in Croydon. 💙 We were also grateful for a visit from John Pearson from BIGGA thank you for the support. “Giving isn’t about having plenty it’s about making sure no one goes without.”

Out with the Percy’s team tonight, serving 80 hot meals to people sleeping rough in Croydon With temperatures dropping low, a hot meal, drink, and a bit of human connection can make a real difference. These nights really highlight how vital this work is in freezing conditions💙

f you’ve bought an all day paper Travelcard and you’re finished with it for the day, hand it to station staff or a passer by and ask them to pass it on to someone who might be struggling. Sometimes people spend their last bit of cash on travel just to get somewhere important.

@chuck_stccc Exactly a lot of men do reach out, and many still end up dying. That shows the problem isn’t men not asking for help, it’s that our culture and our systems don’t support men in a way that actually works. We’re missing the step between ‘I’m struggling’ and real, ongoing support

@JackPercival99 I get the listening part But an absurd percentage of men actually sought help from suicide prevention outlets and killed themselves anyway! There's a step in this problem our culture isn't addressing correctly.

Men still account for roughly three quarters of all suicides. Let’s do more to listen to each other. 💙 🤝
