Sounds like he definitely starts at least one of the upcoming games. Spurs or Brighton probably make most sense with possibility of extra-time vs Galatasaray.
Could see him starting Sunday with Mac Allister dropped and Szoboszlai alongside Gravenberch.

@stevehfairman Yeah, certainly wouldn’t mind someone like Anderson to come in and free him up a bit. Szoboszlai is fantastic but I still have questions as to what the team looks like with him, Wirtz, 2 wingers, and a striker all in the same XI.

Massive this. Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Jones also due new contracts but I always had Gravenberch down as the most important of the four. Such a classy midfielder and still so young.

Correct. That result is almost all on the attackers. Got into good areas on plenty of occasions and didn’t have the quality to make it count. Hopefully Isak hits the ground running when he’s back.

Naturally the focus will be on the goals Liverpool conceded tonight, but I think there's an argument they were both of the 'shit happens' variety. For me, that defeat was instead made in the final third, where they've been nowhere near their level all season.

LFC simply just need to find a way to win games. The performances aren’t going to get much better and it’s not going to be pretty, especially without Wirtz.
Saving grace might be that 5th is likely to be enough for CL. Hopefully Chelsea/Villa game is a draw or Villa win.

Rio Ngumoha completed more dribbles, attempted more dribbles & created as many chances as BOTH Salah and Gakpo combined...
He only played 20 minutes & played on both wings.

Rinse and repeat. The wide players are the main issue with this team. Salah can’t have any complaints with that sub whatsoever.
