A couple in a Tesla struck and mortally injured this deer late today on Hwy 1. I stopped it from stumbling into traffic, and sat with it and did my best to comfort it until it passed away, because no creature should ever die alone, much less die alone on the side of a highway.

Researchers recently suggested fewer people are born towards the end of the low-visual-imagery spectrum. Extreme forms of aphantasia, people who do not have visual imagery at all, are rare. Less than 1% of people have this form bit.ly/3luDovn

Australian scientists have discovered an enzyme that converts air into energy. This enzyme uses the low amounts of the hydrogen in the atmosphere to create an electrical current. It could lead to devices that literally make energy from thin air bit.ly/3yw8oxU
