@mustangjosh94 Don't know the Honeywell specifically but the Asahi one might end up being clunky with the mirror, beware 😅
English

@Workz_studios @mustangjosh94 Was about to say, as an owner myself, to double check it because well... It's pretty unreliable 😅
English

@mustangjosh94 I have I think 4 Spotmatics. Two Asahi, and two Honeywells. Only one of them actually functions properly. 🤣 they’re awesome cameras!
English

@shintake_photo Lovely pictures, I really like the first one!

@shanelsonphotos *large format camera photographers enter the chat* 🤣

Maybe I should start a group. 5 pounds or heavier camera club.

.gio🌿@anybodyshoots
officially starting a group .. 5.6 small camera club 😂
English

@VincentKofi4 It has been, thank you for the hints 😊

@JackVVice1 Yea, some Italian cities can be tough due to how narrow they are. But yea man the 18mm pancake is gonna be better than that 27mm is this is the case. Hopefully, this discourse was helpful in some way.
English

@VincentKofi4 Ah actually I'm based near a cultural city in Italy, we don't have many skyscrapers here but the 18mm is intriguing...
English

@JackVVice1 Buying the 27 f2.8 really depends on where you’re planning to do your street photography. If the buildings in your city aren’t that tall, it’s probably not that big of a deal but if you live in a major city, the 18mm F2 is probably better. (28mm equivalent and also pancake 🤓)
English

@VincentKofi4 Thank you for the great suggestions! I'll look into them. I was afraid buying another fixed lens was worthless: I saw the XF 23mm f2 and it's not compact enough for my goal. Is the 27mm f2.8 good enough in your opinion?
Also about the X100VI: is the HVF worth at all?
English

@JackVVice1 Keep your XT-4.
Buy the Godox iM30
or
Buy the EF-X20
The 23mm lens only advantage is the leaf shutter. Buy the 23mm F2 for ~$275-330
Less portable, more affordable.
Pretty much no other reason to buy unless you just wanna crash out. (Which I’m here for).

@analogfilmphoto 99% same looking fridge as mine, but the content is quite less than yours 😅
English

@shanelsonphotos I use citric acid monohydrate. 5€/bag worth many liters of stop solution.
English

@EriVlc Is this Northern Garda Lake area (Italy)? Feels very close to home to me!
English

@tiairrabrown From my little experience in amateur photography, when you intend to shoot B&W you need to "see b&w": seek for light, contrast, know how colors turn to which grayscale, etc. and also know how to edit pictures after. It's not easy at all, way harder than color.
My work, btw:
