And I had no idea there was a petition to cancel our show! It reminds me of H.L. Mencken’s definition of Puritanism as the “haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy”.

Thanks Andrew! Thankfully only two people have donated. Comedy unleashed is the only organisation keeping free speech, uncensored comedy alive. We need to be doing more to encourage it, not erase it.

Just won my first victory in the House of Lords. An amendment I tabled to the Crime and Policing Bill that will permanently do away with non-crime hate incidents -- co-sponsored by Lords Hogan-Howe and Strasberger -- won by 227 votes to 221. 👊

Aged 17 @JackWatson2008 went to the "far-right" @UnleashedComedy gig in Bethnal Green, it seems @LeoKearse stole the show. A crowd funder from Luke Huxham demands the closure of the comedy club. I have experienced labelling such as 'far-right' and 'nazi' for holding lawful Conservative views. As shown at a recent politics conference I attended, there is a growing intolerance within my generation towards the right. Aren't we supposed to be living in a democratic society?
